Xplan Portfolio Configuration

Bring consistency to portfolio configuration.

Make recurring configuration work easier to understand, maintain and check.

Configuration that holds its shape

AdviserMate portfolio configuration brings consistency to the recurring settings that drive Xplan portfolios — model portfolios and target sets, custom SMA and MDA structures, and the WealthSolver weightings, allocation and fee representation behind your comparisons. We configure to your approved specifications, validate before release, and hand over maintenance so the work stays current.

This is technical configuration. It does not include choosing investments, operating an MDA service, or providing portfolio advice — those remain with you and your nominated authorities.

Model portfolios and target sets

Configure and maintain model portfolios and target sets so recurring allocation work is consistent, repeatable and straightforward to check.

Custom SMA and MDA configuration

Custom configuration for separately managed account (SMA) and managed discretionary account (MDA) structures within Xplan, reflecting the way your service operates.

Centrally maintained settings

Keep the settings that drive portfolios maintained centrally, so changes flow consistently and the team works from a single source of truth.

WealthSolver weightings, allocation and fee representation

Configure WealthSolver weightings, allocation logic and fee representation so comparisons and modelling reflect your service accurately.

Maintenance support or training

Ongoing maintenance support or tailored training, so your team can keep the configuration current and understand how it behaves.

How the work is structured

A four-step flow takes configuration from agreed requirements to a maintained handover — with validation against approved specifications at every release.

01

Agree required settings

Confirm the settings to be configured — models, targets, accounts, weightings, fees — and the specifications that define them.

02

Configure

Apply the agreed configuration within Xplan, working to the approved specifications and your service structure.

03

Validate against approved specifications

Check the configuration against the approved specifications before release, so behaviour matches what was agreed.

04

Hand over maintenance

Hand over how the configuration is maintained — through support or training — so your team can keep it current.

Frequently asked questions

Who supplies model specifications?

You do. AdviserMate configures the settings you specify; we do not choose investments or provide portfolio advice. The model specifications — assets, weightings and account structure — come from you or your nominated investment authority.

How are changes authorised?

Changes are made only against approved specifications and with your authorisation. We apply configuration within the agreed scope and validate it before release; nothing is changed without your sign-off.

Can our team maintain the configuration?

Yes. Maintenance support or tailored training can be included so your team understands how the configuration behaves and can keep it current over time, suited to their role.

Discuss your configuration needs.

Tell us the settings that recur across your portfolios. Let's bring consistency to how they're configured, validated and maintained.
